About Peach Cobbler

'Hi guys, they call me Peach Cobbler. I like to think its because I'm a peach of a girl! I wanted to say that I am searching for my forever people and I was told this was a good place to start. Shelter staff think that I might be a Border Collie/Hound mix and I'm pretty petite at around 40 pounds. I've had a little bit of an inconsistent start, but I'm ready to really settle in with you, enjoy my life, and make your life even more full! I am thought to be a little less than a year old and I have my basic commands down, but a lot of energy that I still need to direct into something. I hear them say it needs to be a positive something so I'm open to suggestions! Staff at the shelter say I'm very smart and pick things up quickly. I'm considered to be crate trained, house trained, and do okay on leash, but could still use some work in that department. I have lived with other dogs and seem to do okay, but SVASC does recommend that I have a meet and greet before going home. I can be pretty protective over my toys and food, so I would likely do best in a home without very young kiddos. I love toys, and treats, and pets and pats and rubs. And I absolutely love walks!
