About Archie

With our last kid moving out, we have decided to travel and downsize. For this reason, we felt to re-home our beautiful 130lbs Archie Boy to the right family that would offer the love and attention that he's gotten over the past 4 years. Archie has fawn/white colors, 100% pure bred Anatolian (with papers) age 4, neutered, shots are all updated. Archie takes his job VERY seriously. He is without question the quintessential guard dog. He will protect whoever he's with that he approves of, especially his family. Anyone that looks suspicious to him especially, but also the Amazon delivery driver. The desired owner will need to know this breed and have worked with them, but also have some land with a fenced in yard. He is house trained, but loves being outside as well while fenced in. Archie is not a dog you'd bring to the dog park or let off leash. We are NOT selling him but it's our preference that he will be nearby: Washington, Idaho, Oregon so we can visit him every now and then in the future with next owners permission. We are in state of Washington. We never have had young children at home so we are not sure if he will get along with the little ones. But for his size (he is very tall), we wouldn't suggest that. This is a painful decision because I'm super close with my boy, but I know it's the right one for Archie in the long run. Please PM me if you're interested or share this with others who may be.
