JoAnne is a beautiful 10-year-old Chihuahua mix looking for her forever home. JoAnne came to us after her owner passed away. JoAnne has tremors that make her wiggle a little extra. This impairment shows when she is walking or when she gets really excited, but she relaxes and lays still while sleeping throughout the night (preferably next to her human). It doesn't slow her down one bit! When we had her dental done, she had 6 teeth extracted and was already missing 4. Due to the condition of her teeth, the vet thinks she may have been a survivor of Distemper! This disease can often be fatal to dogs and the fact she is a survivor makes her a little extra special. JoAnne is seriously sweet and affectionate. She will need to meet everyone in the home and will need to be the only pet in the home, since she prefers to be the center of attention. We do recommend older, dog savvy children that will respect her boundaries. She is a smart girl that walks good on leash and also does well in a kennel.
