About Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a beautiful 10 year old Bluetick Coonhound. She was an outside dog for her entire life until her owner passed away. She was brought to the shelter and was very fearful. She was placed in a foster home to be able to adapt to indoor life better. She is fully housebroken and has never had an accident in her foster home. Her foster mom has 3 other dogs and Pumpkin has gotten along with all of them from Day 1. Pumpkin loves treats and her favorite bed. She is still fearful and anxious at times. She has never shown any aggression to people or dogs. She is your typical hound, her nose is her boss. She has a beautiful deep bay and she does like to bark. An indoor home is required with a fenced yard or underground fence. She does stay in an underground fence in her foster home. After 1 week of training with the flags there have been no problems.
