Meet GUPPY! He: Is a male Parson Russel Terrier/chihuahua mix Is 2.5 years old Weighs 25 pounds Walks nicely on a leash Is great with other dogs, big and small Is good with cats Is medium energy Is not a good fit for a home with young children Is working on potty training About: Sweet boy Guppy has won the hearts of our staff and volunteers. He was one of 80+ dogs rescued from a severe dog hoarding situation, and his journey with us has been truly remarkable. Initially too terrified to accept human touch, he now seeks out affection and has even started to give his belly for pets. Guppy is still frightened of being restrained or picked up, but he loves to be petted and can be easily leashed for a walk or loaded into a crate for transport. He has made excellent progress and is now with a foster who is continuing to socialise him, acclimate him to life in a home and work on his potty training.
