Henry came to us from the county shelter where he was originally found as a stray. He is shy at first and takes some time to warm up. He prefers when people take it slow with him. Henry is so sweet once he's comfortable and seeks attention. He will need a mature, adult only home that is dog savvy. Henry can be possessive of his food and treats and will need to be fed separate if there are other dogs in the home and not bothered by his people during meal time. Henry has done well with staff members but is much more leery of men and will need any men in the home to take it very slow with him at first. He is a sweet boy that needs some love and basic training such as housebreaking training. To meet Henry, please bring everyone in the home including any other dogs to our shelter location, 1102 W.
