Sunset is a beautiful dilute calico colored kitty (approximately 4 years old) who in late 2020 found herself lost outside before being found and taken in by a cat-loving foster home. Her foster family took her to the vet, got her microchip number but sadly the microchip company was unable to contact her owners. The foster family did more research into her microchip and were even able to contact her original owner, but alas could not find anyone who was looking for her. From the very beginning, it was clear Sunset was not an outside cat, she was so scared and anxious, clearly having been used to living indoors previously. Her foster home already has 5 other cats and Sunset exhibits signs of being overwhelmed by so many of them under one roof (e.g. licking her fur off, hiding often). Her ideal home would be with either only 1 or 2 other animals and with a family or person who can show her plenty of love and attention to help her trust humans again and not be afraid. Her temperament to dogs is unknown, but based on her submissive nature, we believe she could easily adjust to a dog as long as given proper slow introductions and TLC. Sunset is such a pretty and nice cat, she deserves someone who will give her a home that will always take care of her, never lose her and always look for her and after her.
