About Cookie

My husband recently passed away, and I have been having trouble physically and financially caring for Cookie. Now I've had a small stroke, and I just can't care for her well at all. She is a 15 year old Min Pin / Toy Fox Terrier who is mostly blind and deaf. In spite of her health issues she still loves going on walks and eating wet food and treats. She gets really excited for these favorite activities, and likes to have her chin scratched. She doesn't do well in the heat or the cold, so she will need to be kept indoors, not in a yard. She also has trouble with dry food and will need wet food. she doesn't like to be touched on the back, or anywhere she can't see it coming, so she doesn't get along with other animals or young children. Finally, she can't hold her bathroom time between walks and has trouble outside when it's too hot or cold, so she uses training pads indoors. If you have the means, and would like to make Cookie's last few years happy ones, please consider adopting her.
