About LT

LT (stands for Lucky Texas) is a one year old energetic Texas Heeler mix. LT is one lucky boy after being rescued from an overcrowded Texas shelter. He is currently at the Last Hope Animal Rescue in Wantagh, NY. LT is very playful and fun. He is smart and knows his commands. He does well with other dogs and would do best with children age 10 and older. LT aced his temperament evaluation- he accepts all handling, has no food aggression, and walks well on a leash. He loves to play with toys, retrieves both ball and squeaky toys. LT is an active young dog and needs a job to do. He will need some training as all dogs do. He tends to herd kids, so no young kids under 10 and understand it's not aggression but herding instinct. Please contact Last Hope in Wantagh about meeting LT.
