About Smokie

This is Smokie Lou. He has been my companion for three years. I saved him at 3 months old. He's never left my side. I can't afford for the training he needs and when my daughter's dad and I split up we moved into an apartment. This is no happy life for a cattle dog to live in. I will be starting a new job and he will be inside hapartment alone from 10AM UNTIL 5PM. I'm assuming I'll be too exhausted to tend to his physical needs I have a two year old and a baby on the way, and I'll be honest this boy can't do kids. Or children. He doesn't let kids play or scream and absolutely no fast movements. He will bite them. Adults he can handle but he will not allow rough housing or violence. He will bite the heels. He's become too agressive due to being couped up in an apartment and my 2 year old daughter is way too rough on him. I can't give him what he needs. I can't stress enough though what a loving and great dog he is though despite the fact he doesn't like children and is way over protective. He is the definition of love in itself. He is my best friend. And I am crying it brings me to tears and a very bad migraine to have to do this but I want him in an atmosphere where he can run free range and herd cattle he honestly deserves to be what he was bred for. A cattle dog. He's gonna make a great work dog I just know it. He is loyalty. He is strength hes quick and perfect. I'll dearly miss him and I hope whoever takes him will keep in touch with me on his progress from time to time. Thank you. I pray he finds his safe haven.
