Gunther is a goofy, handsome and very lovable pup who is 1 year old and weighs in at 52 pounds! A gorgeous Black Mouth Cur mix (best guess), Gunther charms us with his eye-catching looks and loving personality. He is great with other dogs and cats and lives with both in his foster home, but hasn't been around children. Gunther is a little wary of strangers and barks at chickens and horses, in case you have any of those. A sociable dog, he is very eager to please and is highly treat and food motivated. He loves your attention and being rewarded with treats. He quickly learned to Sit and waits to eat until given the OK to begin. He shows great self-control by staying in place before he begins his meals. His wonderful foster family has prepared him for adoption by leash, crate and house training this smart boy! He prefers to sleep in his crate or on the couch. Gunther's favorite activities include playing with other dogs, going for walks, playing tug of war, riding in the car, chewing on his nylabone and hanging out with his people.
