About Rocky

I have a family dog that needs to be rehomed and I am desperate for help. We are an animal adopting and loving family. We currently have 4 dogs and 2 cats. Rocky is a 4 year old mixed breed. The other 3 dogs are a 13 year old golden, a 9 year old dauschand rescue, and a 6 year old (maybe) chiweenie rescue. In the last year and a half, Rocky and Andy (6 year old) will be playing and Rocky will suddenly lose his mind and attack Andy. This happened again Sunday, and Andy had emergency surgery. A trainer I used told me that if you have 1 dog, you have 1 dog. If you have 2 dogs, you have 2 dogs. If you have 3 dogs, you have a pack and someone wants to be the leader. All my life, I've been around dogs or had dogs, but I never understood when someone says '�'�|that's MY dog�'�|' until we got Andy, and he is 'my' dog. The trainer says Rocky knows this and is jealous. So, I don't see this ending. My son pulled Andy out of Rocky's grip. Someone is going to get hurt. Rocky is truly a sweet dog; house broken and knows a few commands. His groomer says he's one of the best dogs she grooms. I just can not live with the threat of attacks in my home.
