Location: Arizona Small Dog Rescue facility Kodiak Bear is an adorable 6 year old Chihuahua/Min Pin mix looking for his forever home! Kodiak Bear is very shy of new people at first, he follows the lead of other dogs and also is very food motivated! He will need a patient home that allows him to warm up at his own pace. He is good with cats, big and small dogs. Kodiak Bear has done great with women, he is more timid of men and will need them to be very patient with him. Kodiak Bear is so sweet, once he knows you he loves you and he will dance for your attention! Kodiak will need some basic training, he is almost housebroken and needs to learn how to walk on a leash. He will need a securely fenced in yard to learn these skills in. When Kodiak came in, his teeth were so bad that his face was swollen. We got his dental done right away and he needed 33 teeth extracted. He's feeling much better now but will need a soft/wet food only diet. To meet him, please bring everyone in the home including any other dogs to our shelter location, 1102 W. Hatcher Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-6pm.
