About ISAAC

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. ISAAC and his siblings were turned into the shelter. We have no real idea what thIer life was before coming to the rescue. He was hissy and dirty! Now this sweet little dude is ready for his FUREVER home! It takes ISAAC a while to warm up to you, but once he does he loves to be petted, and will rub against your leg till you do so! Not a huge fan of being held long. He also loves to play with all toys and other cats. He will usually grab a toy and play by himself. Does fine around (older) children. He has a great appetite and loves his wet food. ISAAC is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is 3 months old and is good with cats and older children. In his foster home, he was around other kittens and older cats. He has never been around dogs. ISAAC is currently located at PETSMART in Palm Desert, Ca off Monterey Avenue. AUGUST 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application: By Email / In Person / Fill Out Online Form 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. Take the Kitty Home ************************** NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS **************************** You can obtain an application one of 3 ways. The 1st is to physically go to the PETSMART where the pet is located and request one from our volunteers. VOLUNTEERS are only there 9 am to 12 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Once filled out please return to the VOLUNTEER. The 2nd way is to request an application.The information you fill out on THIS website is NOT the application. An actual application CAN be requested and sent by email . Please include the pet's name in the SUBJECT LINE and email us directly: [email protected] Please do not email us asking if the cat is still available. Email us to request an application or ask questions not answered for you on their ad. The 3rd way is to find OUR ONLINE APPLICATION form. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ********** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. We are an all-VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. ISAAC is ALREADY fully vetted.
