About Skye

Update8-4-21***Skye is scheduled for her full vetting on 8-13-21. We are however hoping we get a call for her to come in early so we can get her placed in a home. She has had a bath and is so good with everything, even the blow-dryer. She loves attention and does great with our little Corgi boy. We will not be choosing her home until after her vetting has been done. Thank you all again for your continued patience while we await her vet appointment...... Update-8-2-21**We have received an overwhelming amount of calls, emails and texts from potential adopters. We have not been taking calls on her as the first step in adopting is requesting an application either by texting us an email address or by sending us an email directly from the rescue me site. If we have been busy that day, all of our texts and emails will get a response that evening when we are able to set down after the rescues have been tended to. We want to thank everyone for their interest in adopting her and their patience as we go through the process of finding her a home. Please understand that of course there is only one Skye for adoption and we are sure there will be several wonderful homes applying to adopt. Meet Skye...Her birth date is 11-11-16. Skye is actually a Wheaten Terrier, rescue me does not have that as an option to select in their drop-down of dogs so we had to select the closest breed we could find. Skye comes in to rescue tomorrow 8-2-21 as a breeder release. We will know more about her once she arrives. We are told she is very people friendly and quite social. The breeder said when she comes in heat she is grumpy with the other girls. This is why they have decided to move her on to rescue. We believe once she is spayed and not with several unaltered dogs this will no longer be an issue. The picture posted is one the breeder sent to us. We will update her information once she has arrived and we get to know her a bit. We have a call in to our vet to schedule her spay and her full vetting.
