About Daisy

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Daisy is a true delight to have as a pet, a very relaxed, loving and compliant cat, sociable, generally calm, quiet and well-behaved. Is easy to pick up & carry around. You can carry her a short distance with no fight or struggle unless she's scared. Affectionate, quiet and gentle, she enjoys the company of people. She may be a bit fearful of strangers but she warms up quickly. She's accepting of other cats as well. She can be a little overwhelmed in a brand new home. It's best to be calm and quiet at first so she doesn't get scared. Approach her slowly or drag a stick or string to focus her attention without her running away. If you let her explore on her own, she'll eventually come to you after she learns her way around. If allowed, you may find her sleeping on your bed when you wake up in the morning. Daisy is playful. She likes most cat toys but it could take her awhile to get used to them in her new home. She's especially fond of dangling bird toys on a string, and also likes to watch real birds out the window. She scratches vertically mounted scratch pads or scratching posts as well as carpet & horizontal scratching pads on the floor. Daisy doesn't mind cat carriers and may choose to sleep in an open carrier on her own instead of a cat bed. However she doesn't much like riding in a car. Eats dry food. Likes most kitty treats. She is very well-groomed, clean & neat and is conscientious about using her litter box. She'll share a litter pan with other cats, but she may be reluctant if it gets too full. An incredibly sweet and loving cat, Daisy should fit into any environment. She will be available at the end of August. Accepting applications now.
