About Pearl

This may be one of the most unusual cases we have ever been asked to help with! Moose and Pearl are two beautiful Bengals with Bengal Rescue, a 501c3, who were each surrendered separately to Ennis Veterinary Hospital in Ennis, MT. They are currently being cared for and loved by the Vet Staff, who reached out to us to see if we could help them find loving homes. They are NOT a bonded pair, and should not be homed together, so we are listing them with separate Bios. If Pearl isn't the right match for you, please do read Moose's Bio! Pearl is a beautiful four-year-old Bengal cat who was surrendered by her elderly owner who could not get her Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) under control. She was initially treated for vomiting and diarrhea with Prednisone and B-12 injections. That helped her tremendously, along with a diet change. Her Vet is working to wean her off the medication and she's doing so much better now on a Hill's ZD diet. She was given access to roam but really wasn't comfortable with all of the activity. She happily snoozes on schedule, engages with the staff for one on one fun (and chatting - she loves to chat!). She doesn't seem to mind dogs but other cats make her TERRIBLY uncomfortable. She could do well in a home with a mellow dog, but we don't believe she would enjoy sharing her home with another feline. No children under the age of 10, please. Pearl is Spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. Pearl has all her claws, is not microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV / FIV.
