About Moose

Bengal
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

This may be one of the most unusual cases we have ever been asked to help with! Moose and Pearl are two beautiful Bengals with Bengal Rescue, a 501c3, who were each surrendered separately to Ennis Veterinary Hospital in Ennis, MT. They are currently being cared for and loved by the Vet Staff, who reached out to us to see if we could help them find loving homes. They are NOT a bonded pair, and should not be re-homed together, so we are listing them with separate Bios. If Moose isn't the right match for you, please do read Pearl's Bio! Moose is a confident and handsome young guy, who just turned one year old. His owners surrendered him for inappropriate urination, however he is having absolutely no issues at the Vet Clinic (he did not have a Urinary Tract Infection but he did have crystals, which has resolved with him being on a Hills C/D diet). The Veterinarian believes he possibly has FLUTD (read more about that here: https://bengalrescue.org/resources/litter-box-issues/ ), but that's not something we can 100% confirm, considering that we don't know anything about Moose's owner's litter box maintenance and environment. Moose seems to get along with other cats, so long as the other cats are not aggressive. Because of this, Moose is able to comfortably co-exist with the other cats at the clinic. When his prior owners tried to re-home him to a friend with dogs, he did not seem happy with the arrangements and peed on the dog beds. He would likely do well in a home with mellow cats but not dogs. No children under the age of 10, please. Moose is Neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Moose has all his claws, is not microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV / FIV.
