Charlie is a dog we are fostering because we rescued him from the streets. He is very smart and very sweet and affectionate. He loves to be indoors with his people, but also enjoys playing chase and hide-n-seek. He is a large dog (78 pounds) and is still growing. I am recovering from a recent back surgery and still healing, and because he is so large and playful, I fear he will inadvertently knock me over because of his innocent playfulness. We have been working on basic commands such as 'no, down, sit, come, lay down, shake'. He has done very well with these. Unfortunately, he has jumped our 4 foot wall once, so we are currently trying to work with him to keep him safe in boundaries. He sleeps very well at night within our home. He has been working on walking and hiking with a no-pull harness and has made great progress. One of his cutest attributes is his floppy ear. Charlie is becoming a wonderful and lovable dog. He will require plenty of space to run and exercise. We hope and pray he will make a family very happy.
