About PEANUT the POODLE

Peanut is a bichon poodle mix who is estimated at 10-11 years old. He's a friendly little fella who loves his people but can take time to warm up to strangers. He needs a calm environment -- any kids in the home should be at least 14 years old and of a kind, gentle, and responsible nature. Peanut was rescued as a complete matted beige mess. Who knew he was so precious and pretty white. His matting under his eyes was thick and hard and also rock hard around the bottom of his chin. He was a pleasant little champ during the tedious grooming and is just as precious as can be. Peanut was just neutered and has had complete bloodwork done -- everything checks normal. His vaccines were updated last month and he had a 4dx test, clearing him of all the tick-born diseases as well as heartworm. His toenails were over an inch long which made it awkward for him to walk. We had him sedated so the vet could trim them as short as safely possible and it sure gave him a bounce in his step once finished! He also had a complete dental on August 3rd. His teeth were so brown and neglected, two of them simply fell out upon initial exam. A home with a yard is required for Peanut. He is not a candidate for apartment or condo living as he prefers to not meet new people every time he has to go out for a potty break. He enjoys the ease and comfort of his own backyard.
