About Luca

Luca is a purebred American bulldog who hails originally from Missouri. He will be 2 in September. He is the sweetest boy, very laid back, but can be high-energy when he wants to play. He went through a 6 week private training session and passed with flying colors. He knows several commands. Luca is also microchipped. He is loves to snuggle, chase a soccer ball, and go on walks and car rides. He is not yet neutered as we were waiting until age 2. But will be prior to any adoption. He is good with adults, kids, cats but has become anxious around other dogs. Unfortunately, my husband and I divorced. We have another bulldog that I kept, and he took Luca. He is no longer able to keep him, and though I would love to have him back, my other dog no longer gets along with him. :( This has caused some anxiety and sometimes aggression around other dogs. He would likely be best in a home with no other dogs, but willing to try a meet and greet and see how he reacts. He must go to a good home, with bulldog or bully breed experience. And he is kennel trained. As a purebred puppy he was very expensive, but the adoption fee is negotiable. However, this ensures he is going to a good home who can take care of him.
