'So tell me, what's become of my ship?' asked resurrected Pirate Hector Barbossa. 'So tell me, what's become of my family?' asks HECTOR BARBOSSA (ID #A1988702) upon entering the East Valley Animal Shelter, Van Nuys, CA, as a 'stray'. You'd think someone, who knows this handsome, good-natured, playful, 5-year-old would have surfaced and reclaimed this gem after he jumped ship. But, noooo... HECTOR B remains stranded in a kennel, until someone reads about him and realizes he is a treasure that will enrich their family. HECTOR B was so filthy when he was brought to the shelter that one might wonder how long he was on his own traversing the streets, or if he was simply left outdoors 24/7 by his 'humans'. But he seemed to enjoy the bath I gave him, and he sure cleaned up nicely. HECTOR BARBOSSA will be a wonderful companion on land or by sea for an active outdoor person/family that enjoys hiking, walking, playing fetch, etc., and then curling up, indoors, with a good book or streaming movies with HECTOR B by their side. Make that call to (888) 452-7381 and ask to be connected to the East Valley shelter to schedule an appointment to meet/adopt/rescue HECTOR BARBOSSA.
