About Meg

Meg the Magnificent will be making her way to Vermont this week! This sweet and affectionate girl has stolen the hearts of her foster family in the short while she has been with them. Meg LOVES to follow people around and is more than content to be your shadow all day long. Her tail is perpetually wagging and she always has a smile on her face. Meg has done well with all people she has met and is tolerant of other animals. It's not that she doesn't get along or like 4 legged siblings, she just REALLY REALLY LOVES people. She would do well in a home either as the solo pet or with other calm and laid back animals. She occasionally has tried to play with the resident cat at her foster home. We are happy to report that these have been very friendly interactions with the cat and never aggressive. When walked toward, Meg will initially run away then roll on her back and wait for you to walk up and pet her belly. She also LOVES to cuddle at night and will curl up next to you on the bed and keep you warm. Meg has had a recent dental appointment and is missing several teeth so she is able to eat hard food but prefers wet food or softer food such as the dehydrated stuff! She is very food motivated! Meg is also potty trained, crate trained, and loves her big fluffy bed in the kennel! Meg is a dream of a dog and is up to date on all of her shots, flea and tick prevention.
