About Loki

It breaks my heart to have to post Loki. He is a very good dog and does love to play with kids. The reason I have him listed as not good with kids is because he is very fetch obsessed. So he will grab anything he can get his mouth on to play fetch with and doesn't really care if anyone is in his way when he runs around with it..so he tends to knock the younger kids down.. He has shown no aggression towards people whatsoever. He does not get along with male dogs that well and that is mainly why I have him listed as I have a few male dogs and its not fair to any of them. He does become a big aggressive with other dogs if they try to take the toy from him and that all falls back onto the fetch obsession.. He does not have a small prey drive as he pays no attention to my chickens. I was told he had been around cats and it was not a problem. He would do best in an active family home where he is the only dog. He loves to play (and will play fetch for hours and I mean HOURS) and with a bit of time and sole attention I feel like he will make someone a fantastic dog. He is not the best on a leash simply because he has always been here on the farm with us so we never really worked on that.. He would be best suited of someone with a fenced in yard that he can play in. I am asking a rehoming fee to ensure that he ends up in the right type of home and not in a bad situation.. but willing to work with the right person.
