About Mikey

READ THIS BEFORE SENDING IN YOUR APPLICATION!! Mikey, was severely abused before coming to us at Muttly Crew. He was tied on a chain 24/7 in a backyard and didn't socialize with other dogs or people. Since arriving with his foster he has made great strides but he is reactive to anything new so small steps are a must to win him over. He is not good with children, but could be ok with a calm dog if introduced properly. He will bite if he feels threatened, however once the trust is established he is a sweetheart. His favorite thing is life is playing fetch so a home with a large backyard is an absolute MUST (Mikey would love a farm or home with lots of land explore). He is very independent and loves running around outside to burn off some of his energy. We need an experienced adopter for Mikey who has had reactive dogs before and understand that patience is a huge priority to building trust with a dog who has been abused and will work with Mikey on his insecurities and reactive behavior.
