About Bella

Bella is a regal and loving senior Great Dane who loves to 'speak her mind.' She is looking for a single-story home with a big comfy couch to snuggle on. Bella LOVES to be loved on. She will sit/stand next to you and get pets for as long as you are willing to give them! If you stop before she's ready, she will bury her head in your lap. We have yet to meet a person that Bella doesn't like,�%A0even the�%A0vet!�%A0�%A0 She is currently in a home with two kids, a medium sized�%A0dog, and a dog-savvy kitten. She does well with all of them. Bella is VERY vocal. Sometimes when she wants to play with the other animals, she will bark or grumble to announce hello or playtime. It can be intimidating for an animal or person that doesn't know her well, but that's just how she 'speaks'! Bella would like a home where she can be herself and speak her mind. She would do great in a home with other animals, but she is also completely content getting ALL the love and attention from her humans by herself. Bella will potty on a leash, but prefers to take her time in a fenced in yard off the leash. Bella spends most of her days napping or hanging out on the couch. However, she does occasionally get in the mood for a few zoomies! She's not big on playing with toys, but does enjoy bones or other things she can chew on. She came into rescue underweight and with a large mass on her shoulder. The mass has been removed and she's now at a healthy weight.�%A0As Bella is a senior Dane, she does have some issues due to her age that her new family will need to look after. She has aging hips and lots of hip pain so she will need to remain on supplements to make her comfortable. She also has liver disease, so she will need regular follow ups with her vet to stay comfortable and healthy. Bella is 10 yrs old, spayed and UTD on vaccines and preventatives.
