About Sophia

**Currently fostered in the PNW Sophia is 4 years old (DOB is 6/15/17), spayed, about 45 lbs and is current on all her shots. According to her DNA test, Sophia is 50% American Staffordshire Terrier with the rest being hound breeds. Sophia needs a home where she is the only pet. She loves to play with other dogs, but can get a bit territorial when living with them. She has been a trucker driver's dog her whole life and has mainly had only trucker training (come, sit, stay), was trained off leash and she will come back when you call her. She also shakes with both paws, does high-fives for treats and would flourish with actual training. She has lots of energy and loves to run and play, and she especially loves kids. She loves adventure and would make a great hiking and camping companion. She is great with people and kids once she has warmed up to you (she can be a little shy at first). Sophia loves to snuggle at night, so your bed would stay nice and warm. She does not like loud noises like thunder claps and fireworks and will retreat to her crate for some alone time. She just needs someone who can be her whole world. Her adoption fee is $350 which covers her spay, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees.
