About Gus

Gus is a fox hound, 3.5 years old, up to date on shots, about 75lbs, and is very cuddly. He loves to cuddle up under the blankets every night. He does like other dogs, but is territorial of his food. He has never been around cats. He is very sweet with his family, but is nervous around strangers and food guards, and will bite because of it. He will need a fenced yard (not electric fence) He is fine with strangers outside of our home (eg. at the dog park, vet, going for walks). He would be best in a home with no other pets or children, and someone that doesn't have many visitors. He would do well with someone that has time to train him with his resource guarding.
