Koda is a 2 year old 60 pound Shepherd mix. She and her seven three week old puppies were dumped at an overcrowded Oklahoma shelter. Koda managed to keep all her puppies alive and safe until she got to her foster home two weeks later. The look of relief on Koda's face when she arrived at her foster home was priceless. There were lots of people to help her and she was grateful. Koda and her puppies all got bathed and tucked in. For the first time Koda didn't have to be the milk machine and her puppies happily lapped up their mush. Koda chose a soft comfy dog bed and took a nap. Koda deserves the very best forever home after what she has been though. She does well with other dogs but really loves people and getting attention. She loves to have her belly rubbed and hang with her people. Koda requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely. Koda is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped. Koda is ready to leave her puppies and find a home of her own. We will place her in a foster to adopt home until she is spayed in a month. If you would like to meet Koda, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Koda please contact [email protected] or call 319-929-6657. Adopters must be within a two hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA. Indoor homes only. Adoption donation $250.
