About Gia

Gia is sweet in so many ways. She likes to follow me around the house while I do my chores, sleep with me at night, and cuddle with me while I watch TV or read a book. I have not been able to desensitize her to my other cats. She likes being with people and is good with older children. She needs a home with no younger kids or other cats where she can be the queen bee, spend plenty of time with people, and have plenty of play time to tire her out. She likes to nap mid-morning to mid-afternoon, then get up and play or run around outside with you. She likes to sleep on the bed with you, and is a rewarding companion with a long life ahead. She has made a lot of progress in the last few months, and with the right behavioral training, this cat, who has obviously been through a lot of trauma in her short life, can continue to make progress.
