About Rossi

This stunningly colored boy is Rossi, a 1 year old Australian Cattledog who weighs between 35-40 pounds. He does have a fantastic raccoon tail, too. Rossi knows all of his basic commands: Sit, Stay, Down, Heel, Kennel, and Come. He also knows how to spin on command. Rossi is house and crate trained. Rossi is good with the dogs he has met and loves to play. Other dogs at the dog park can find him irritating because he herds them. He also doesn't like bossy/in your face dogs. So, Rossi is more of a dog beach dog, better off not at the dog park. Rossi is also good with the cat he visits at a family member's home. Rossi is tentative meeting new people, preferring a polite introduction, especially men. His ideal home is as a woman's dog. He is not a fan of kids. Rossi will blossom in a quieter home where his people like to hike and camp. He isn't enjoying the busy San Diego downtown lifestyle. He just isn't into being social with strangers, but an outdoor lifestyle is perfect for this boy. Rossi does fetch, and won't always drop it when he brings it back. He is good on leash and good in the car, so he is ready to take a road trip to go camping. Rossi is a cuddler who adores his person. He also likes to chase his tail! Rossi's new home should be active, outdoorsy, ans approach dogs with a gentle nature. He doesn't like a heavy hand. In return, he will give his new home tons of devotion and be up for any adventure. Rossi is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in San Diego. Adopters must be able to meet ans adopt here. We do not ship dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
