About Rex

Rex is a happy guy! You'll never catch him without a smile on his face and his tongue dragging the ground. He iust loves people and s eager to meet everyone. He does good with female dogs but doesn't seem to get along with some male dogs. He walks well on a leash but he is very strong. He is very smart but up until now, it doesn't appear he was ever directed. He needs someone to show him what is expected of him. He would be best placed with a person who has breed experience and can give him structure and routine. The rescue trainer will begin working with him shortly and will work with his adopter on continuing his training. Because of his energy level, It seems he would do best in an all adult, acitve household. Once he settles in to a home, feels safe and learns the routine we think he would become a great companion. Rex is a 4 year old, 75 lb German Shepherd mix. He is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped.
