About Floyd

10 months, almost half his life, Floyd has been waiting for that perfect family to come along. JUST ONE PERSON NEEDS TO GIVE FLOYD HIS FUREVER CHANCE!!!! HE BRINGS SO MUCH JOY AND LOVE WITH HIM. You can see the pleading in his eyes as he spends day after day waiting. At about 2 years old, this pup has spent too much of his life confined. RESCUES WELCOME TO PULL Floyd recently got out of the shelter for a week and it showed how quickly he adapted to a home despite his long stay at the shelter. He was the perfect house guest. He came out of the shelter like a gangbuster, having to sniff everything but then got right in the car and was ready to go. Once home, he is happy to sit in your lap and enjoy some TV and settle right in. Be ready to get lots of snuggles and kisses. He does very well in a crate if you would need him to be when you are not home. He loved going for long walks and hikes The shelter is requesting a home with no other animals or small kids at this time so he can really have time to fit into your family Floyd can be possessive with his toys but found if you tell him to drop a ball, he does. He would love someone to work on this with him. He was brought to the shelter for biting a child that was trying to grab a ball from his mouth.
