About Oliver

Oliver is a mini Australian Shepherd. We've had him since he was just 2 months old, however he's become increasingly aggressive with our other male dog. He does fine with females but he seems to resource guard myself and our young daughter. A specialist told me he either needs to be the only dog (ideally) or with only females and away from his main resources he seeks to aggressively protect (me and my daughter). He is not a 'bad dog' he's incredibly sweet and fun to play with on his own. He just hyper-obsesses and becomes jealous of other dogs. We think he would do best as a solo dog or out somewhere with lots of room where he can feel like the herding boss that he deserves to be.
