About Whiskers

Whiskers is beautiful, sweet, gentle and affectionate, 10-year-old, nine-pound, female Maine Coon/tabby-mix cat looking for a loving guardian. Whiskers gets along nicely with other cats, and gentle-natured dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. She has extremely soft fur, and has all her claws, but doesn't use them on the furniture. She is perfectly litter box-trained and well-behaved in the home. Whiskers spends her day snoozing, assisting in the making of the bed, rolling on catnip toys, and napping on window sills. She's an easy companion who lets you easily trim her claws and jumps right in the carrier when asked. She even lets me pet and brush her belly. She will need daily brushing to keep her beautiful coat matt-free. When her human mom passed away, Whiskers came to Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is a great comfort to whoever she lives with. While she's great with other animals, she's perfectly happy being your one and only pet if you are often at home to keep her company.
