About Joy

This super-silly 8 month old lab/staffordshire terrier mix is ready for adventure. Joy is a bouncy, sweet, friendly young lady. She has gorgeous markings: soft fawn-colored coat with cream markings including a blaze down her face, nose, and neck. Her eyes are soft pools of love surrounded by velvet. She learns very quickly. She makes excellent eye contact and monitors your body language closely. She needs a fully fenced yard to take full advantage of play time. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the application. Be sure to date it next to the signature line (applications are reviewed in the order they are received) and put the name of the animal you are interested in at the top. You can then save the application to your computer and email it to [email protected] or deliver it directly to the shelter. Application forms are also available on the front door of the shelter and can be filled out and turned in on the spot. A shelter staff member will review the app and call you to set up an appointment. Due to Covid restrictions, only two people are allowed in the shelter at one time and each visitor is asked several health-related questions before being allowed in.
