Eleven is eligible for local adoption only (within 1.5 hours drive time of Wake Forest) while he waits for his heartworm treatment. Please don't let his heartworm status bother you. The rescue will cover the cost of her treatment, even after adoption. You have heard of being a 10! We have an ELEVEN! This handsome, sweet, friendly, debonair boy is really a great catch! He was a hunting dog so the number Eleven was actually spray painted on his side, so we just had someone shave that off so he didn't look so silly; we kept the name though because it explains what he's overcome! He's a very friendly boy and loves children! He also plays nicely with other dogs and does well in doggy daycare and is great around cats! He LOVES his squeaky stuffed animals and belly rubs%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD He walks nicely on a leash and loves to give snuggles. Hounds make wonderful family pets and although they can be stubborn, they're very sweet, fairly easy and can usually adapt fluidly to any situation. As part of Eleven's $250 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Eleven, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
