About Jane

Meet Jane, a 2.5 year old, 49lb, Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. Jane LOVES people, and belly rubs. She's on the higher energy side thats why we recommend teens, but if your kids are dog savvy we'd love for your family to meet her! Jane is from Kabul, Afghanistan. Jane has a heart-breaking story that pulled on all of our heart strings. Jane was picked up for a city-wide spay/neuter program by Mayhew International in the summer of 2019 in Kabul, but she gave birth overnight. They brought her to the rescue in Afghanistan, the next day and it became a nursery for her 6 puppies. 2 later passed away of parvo, but she raised the 4 remaining ones at the shelter and she had been there until we took her a few weeks ago.
