About Tint

Lab / Pit Bull
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Tint!! Sadly this poor boy was found running stray and landed himself at a rural shelter. He's been soaking up all the love in his new foster home!! Tint is an approx 2 year male, lab/ bully breed mix. He weighs approximately 48 pounds. He has a really cool two tone coat pattern hence his name :) He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of his adoption. He is sadly Heartworm positive. His heartworm treatment is covered as part of his adoption. He showed up at the shelter covered in unknown welts. As they have healed they left the scattered small bald spots (please ask for more photos.) He has been taken to the vet and had his skin checked and was given medication. Everything tested negative to include skin scrapings. No one is sure what had happened to him. He is healing up nicely and his fur is regrowing. Luckily it does not bother him at all. Tint is really enjoying his second chance of life and is a very happy boy! He is very sweet and has not shown any aggressive behavior with people or animals over anything to include toys, treats or food. He LOVES toys! Hes practicing bringing a ball back and working hard on it. He is a huge cuddlebug and once he takes his few minutes to settle down is extremely lovable. He can catch pieces of hotdogs mid air while still sitting. He learned 'get down' for getting off the couch and 'out of the kitchen' in the first 10 minutes and when you tell him now he does it happily and immediately He is working hard on his manners and very eager to please, he just hasn't had anyone show him how to behave before. He is learning very quickly. He has done very well with crate training and is house trained. He is working on walking nicely on a leash. He rides well in a car. Tint has done well with other dogs once properly introduced but can be excited waiting to get to say hi. He has done well with cats and children. He is higher energy and would love a yard to run loose and play in and would not do well being cooped up in an apartment. This poor guy has been failed by his owners so far and is ready for his perfect home that will treasure this sweet and playful boy. Located in Hampton VA. (He will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) Needs a fenced yard. ****DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION FROM YOUR LANDLORD TO ADOPT THIS BREED****** IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING READ BELOW Please message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application.
