About Holmes

Meet Holmes! He is a 60 lb pointer/hound mix who is super sweet and wants to be close to his human. He does great on walks and loves to play. He is a bit of a scaredy-cat/timid. He needs a human or family that will be patient with this. Holmes is doing well with sleeping in the crate at night and being in there when he can't be supervised. He needs a home with an established dog (or dogs) in which he can get some daily exercise with a fenced yard to run and play in. No apartment living for this big guy. Holmes has been in foster homes with other dogs and children and does well with both. He has suffered from separation anxiety and will need a patient owner to bond with him before he can be left alone in his first weeks at his new home. Holmes is available in the Northeast only.
