About Jasper

Hi my name is Jasper & I'm a 3+ year old Chug (Pug Chihuahua mix)! Don't let my small size fool you. I can jump into your lap in a heartbeat and I really like being there. I'm not into fetch but I do like to chase the dog with the ball or toy. Tug of war is really my thing. Whether it's with another pup or a human. I've been told that my play growl sounds like a baby Chewbacca. Oh and I love chew toys too! Sometimes I cough/choke when over excited in play. It is caused by a collapsing of my esophagus. My human helps me by just slowing me down/calm me if it happens. The Vet said it has to do with my breed. At meal time I will sit and wait until I'm told 'ok'-then I chow down! I enjoy walks and pull a bit because these humans are too slow! I need a bit of practice and patience to get better, I'm told. I like car rides and enjoy looking out the window at the world going by. I am crate trained & sleep through the night Could you be my forever home?
