About Simon

i Future Family! My name is Simon and the people that know me best would describe me as handsome (obviously!) loving and affectionate, smart and eager to learn (especially with the right treats!) independent and dignified (my confidence shows!) and adventurous (ready to hike, romp and play!) You might also like to know I'm crate-trained, house-trained, leash-trained, love humans (kiddos, teenagers and adults alike!) and I even like the vet (mostly because they give me treats!) Oh, and I'm sure to impress with my stay, sit, shake and down! Just think of all the fun we'll have practicing and perfecting my cues for treats (YUM!) hiking, camping, swimming, running with the best of them, playing games of chase and cuddling when the day is done! But I have to say.. I'd thrive most in a home with a yard to play in and no other pets - What can I say? I love the humans, I don't like dogs and I love to chase so cats probably aren't a good idea and why make friends with dogs when I can make friends with you?! Speaking of - I'd benefit from someone who has experience with (or someone willing to learn and help me grow in) reactive behavior as it pertains to unknown pets - This is best aided through management of environment i.e. a home without pets and a lifestyle that allows me to be my best-self! That being said, I can't wait to thrive in my new home and love the family meant for me! Ready to take a chance on love? Throw this dog a bone & Let's go home! Oh, and before I forget - I also go home with my food bowls and food, bed for catching Zzz's, collar, leash and harness, muzzle, my favorite toys, treats galore, prevention for fleas/ticks and heartworms, and continued support from my current family who's but a text or email away! This way you can focus on what's important - Me, us and our new life together!
