About Cali

Cali is a very sweet 7 yr. old purebred (no papers) and pretty well sized. She and her buddy Jagger (9 yrs old) have been together all of her life. They came to us because their owner could no longer keep them do to health issues. They were kept in a private kennel for a month before coming here and due to poor food and stress did loose weight. They are both doing much better now! It of course would be GREAT if they could go together but not always probable. She gets along awesome with our active 3 yr. old and both men and women. She is not a large barker unless there is a reason, she is kennel trained, walks on a leash and is house broke. She has been allowed a few times to interact with rescue kittens but tends to want to overly mother them. Cali likes to take a little bit of time while eating while Jagger (her buddy) eats a bit faster so she will from time to time put him in his place if he tries to take hers. We do however feed them together just in separate areas. We have not tried feeding her with any other dogs. She is not food aggressive with people. They will however beg if allowed (which we do not allow) She is super sweet and deserves to find a Loving home with a loving family to spend out the rest of her years.
