Sally came to us two and a half months ago as an extremely shy street cat - she spent all her time hiding. But she's recently come to trust us and will now come out of her hiding places when called at anytime. She loves being petted, and is constantly giving head butts to ask for pets. Loud noises and sudden movements still scare her, and she will run back to her hiding place. She will also occasionally let you know when she doesn't want to be petted with a gentle swat. Sally needs an experienced adopter who is willing to put in the time and energy to draw her out of her shell. We're sure that with time and patience, Sally will become a loving lap cat, though she will probably be shy around strangers her whole life.
