About Athena & Rhea

Meet Athena and Rhea. These black satin beauties are a lab bully mix. Athena has higher energy level. Athena is a dog that needs to be walked or played with daily, to fulfill her drive to move. If you looking for a dog that will help you get your steps in daily, she is your gal. What a great way to unwind from your work day, take Athena for a walk. Fresh air and decompress with the buddy that has been waiting for you all day to get home to love on you. Athena is very happy to interact with people. She can be jumpy when meeting new people. She is living with her sibling, Rhea, and is showing she wants to be the leader of the pack. Athena is around 16 months old, spayed, weighed 47# as of July. Rhea is the mellow, laid back dog of the two sisters. She has a white spot on her chest. Rhea is warm, affectionate, great on walks, and more than happy to sit near her caretakers for extra attention or food or treats that may fall. Rhea weighs around 38# and aims to please. Rhea enjoys laying across your lap enjoying being pet on. Rhea will also love to greet you when you get home, but is more than happy to stay inside with you and get a snack. Both gals have been micro-chipped and heart-worm tested and are negative. The sisters are intelligent, affectionate, and aim to please. Both are food and treat motivated. Her foster is working on 'sit' commands. Currently, the girls have a backyard to run free in. A tall fenced backyard would be a huge plus for the girls. Initially, like all dogs, you should to be in the back yard with either of the girls when they are outside until they get accustom to area. The girls are house trained, reside indoors mainly and would adore snoozing with her human caretaker. Athena would be good with older kids as she has large amount of puppy energy. When it is lovey time, Athena is extremely affectionate just like Rhea. The girls would absolutely adore someone working from home and will shower you with her love.
