About Freya

Freya is an approximately 5 yo., 70 lbs. gorgeous and extremely friendly shepherd. She is calm, loving, and affectionate. She has the typical shepherd traits of being intelligent, obedient and alert, and very loyal. Freya does absolutely wonderful with people and is friendly with adults and children. We recommend her as the only dog. She isn't too fond of other females but could do well with another calm, mature, and submissive male. She needs slow introductions and the right match. Freya has a prey drive so no cats or small dogs. Freya is fully potty trained, is crate trained, and does well on leash. She will need an owner who can provide her with the structure and leadership she needs to succeed. Freya is in general very laid back but can have an attitude towards other dogs on walks so a confident handler who understands leash handling skills is preferred. But we're happy to teach the basics.
