Romeo is a stunning 8 yr young boxer/staffie mix that has been at the shelter since 7/6/21 and is now Red Listed for Behavior and can be killed any time for space! Per the shelter: 'Romeo is an 8 year old male Boxer/Pit Bull Mix. He came in as a stray from an officer on July 6th. Initially, acting aggressive through kennel at everyone. We moved him to our treatment area which is more secluded for him to decompress. When moving him, we leashed him and took him out of kennel, he was fine. Once we put him in another kennel, he became aggressive. Seems to be kennel aggressive. Once he sees the leash, he calms down and allows you to take him out for a walk. We walked him out to the play yard and into the technicians' office area. He loves the play yard and toys. In the office, he was unsure as to what to do. As technicians, petted him, he would do low growls. He needs work with behavior and trust issues.'
