He is very smart and a quick learner, especially when food is used as a reward. Captain is pretty brave and is not scared of most sounds including thunder and fireworks. In true beagle fashion, he loves to go on 'walk abouts' so he needs to be watched around open doors and gates. IMPORTANT: Captain does have a seizure disorder and takes medicine twice a day every day with a cost of $30 a month. He will need this medication his entire life to control his seizures.
