About Brindi

Hello! My name is Brindi. I am a beautiful brindle American Pitbull mix. Sadly, I had a rough start in life. I was found abandoned with my puppies. I was very afraid of human contact, so I had to be trapped by my rescuers. After that I was taken into a foster home. When they found me, I had an old injury to my back leg. I ended up needing it amputated. On top of that, I was diagnosed with heartworms. My foster mom has started me on slow kill treatment for the heartworms and they also got my leg amputated. So now I'm a tripod! All of my babies have been adopted out into their new homes and now I would love to find mine. I would do best in a home with no cats, I don't really love them. Ideally, the dogs who will live with me forever will be older and submissive. Having only three legs does not slow me down at all! I am still very fast and can beat you in a race. I would make a great companion for an active family or a more laid back one.
