About Veela

My name is Veela! I'm guessed to be a shepherd mix and estimated to be about 1.5 years young. I'm a sweet little girl and I currently weigh a svelte 50 lbs. I think that's lap-dog size, don't you? I will definitely cuddle with you as much as you want, as I am a total love bug. I like to have fun and have a lot of energy. I love to play with the other doggies at my foster's house, and they are even bigger than me! One is a boy who is 60 lbs. and one is girl who weighs 120 lbs.!!! They are both my friends. I also love to play with the pup next door through the fence. They are setting good examples for me, helping me to understand that when I 'sit' it should be for more than a few seconds, and that I should probably cool it on the 'counter surfing.' Even though that's where the yummy snacks are. I am house-broken and comfortable in my crate at my foster's house, and this means it's OK that it's taking me a little while to figure out how to walk on a leash. I watch my friends do it and I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon. Love to play with my ball too! I will be so happy to bring snuggles and love to my forever home. Is that with you? (Veela is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is not suitable in an apartment, condo or other urban setting. Veela is currently being fostered in Ellicott City, MD. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner.
